SMOOTH AND SOOTHE YOUR SOUL WITH EMTONE
Cellulite and loss of skin tone constitute some of the most stubborn conditions in modern aesthetic medicine. With a variety of causes ranging from the uneven distribution of superficial fat to the interrupted circulation of lymph and blood that comes with age, cellulite effects nearly all of us eventually – regardless of gender. And while treatments to date have been lackluster when it comes to making significant and lasting improvements, Marcos Medical Wellness is pleased to introduce one that actually works: EMTONE.
Recently cleared by the FDA for the treatment of cellulite and loss of skin tone, EMTONE combines two cutting-edge technologies from the worlds of aesthetic and rehabilitation medicine. Thermal radiofrequency tightens skin by stimulating collagen and elastin production while mechanical shockwave therapy breaks fibrous bands to improve circulation and fat deposition. EMTONE uses a non-invasive device to smooth cellulite and tighten skin – with no downtime. The innovative technology addresses all five causes of cellulite. By increasing the production of collagen and elastin, you can now effectively treat and smooth unsightly dimpling.
How does it work?
EMTONE combines both thermal energy and mechanical energy to treat cellulite. Thermal radiofrequency tightens the skin. It stimulates the production of collagen and elastin.
Mechanical shockwave therapy breaks down your fibrous bands while improving circulation and fat deposition. This radiofrequency and targeted pressure energy is combined to treat all of the factors that contribute to cellulite. The affected tissue is restructured and reorganized. The dual approach leads to the tightening of the skin and overall improvement of the tissue leaving you with toned appearance.
EMTONE is ideal for anyone looking for the non-invasive cellulite reduction and overall improvement of the skin appearance.
During the first visit, your provider helps design your individual treatment plan. Most patients undergo 4 treatments, scheduled once or twice a week. A treatment typically takes about 20 minutes depending on the treated area.
The most common perception of the therapy is being compared to a hot stone massage with intense mechanical vibrations. The treatment is performed in a relaxing lying-down position.
Patients have reported improvements after a single treatment session. The results will typically continue to improve over the next few months. With no downtime you may resume normal activity immediately after the treatment.
