Marcos Medical started over 20 years ago with a mission: to provide the best possible care by working together with patients—and by using the most up-to-date science.
In that time, we’ve grown in order to provide more complete care for our patients. We now have the ability to offer primary care, wellness, and medspa services to serve a wide range of people throughout San Antonio.

Blue Distinction Total Care
Blue Distinction Total Care is a designation awarded by the Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies to doctors and hospitals recognized for their efforts in coordinating total patient care.
BCBS compares the performance of doctors to their peers in the same specialties. BCBS recognizes both Dr. Marcos and Dr. Malarcher with a blue ribbon award—indicating that they meet or exceed expected quality related performance compared to other doctors.
Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Award
Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Award
The Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Award recognizes physician practices that have demonstrated outstanding performance in the percentage of patients who are Medicare beneficiaries screened for depression and/or alcohol use over a 12-month period. Silver Award recipients are providers performing in the top 10 percent in their state for alcohol screening measures or depression screening measures. The award is from TMF Quality Innovation Network.
